    SVCD cut/join for tv playout/storage?

    Greetings one and all.

Has anyone managed to join mpegs extracted from svcd's and not have any audio/video synch issues.

I would like to be able to create one large mpeg2 file both for recording to video without having to mess
around with pause/record and for storage purposes (hoping to buy dvd burner soon).

I've tried every mpeg editing/cut/join software I have been able to find without success.
The usual result is the 1st section will play fine right up until the end and then when the 2nd section starts
the audio will skip a large section and continue out of synch.

    Any help appreciated.

Just looked at this thread in DVD authoring that may be what I need.

Talk about DVD authoring and editing, including support tools such as PgcEdit, MenuShrink...
