    Anamorfic SVCD: problem

    Hi all!

    I've some problem in the realization of SVCD from anamorfic DVD.
    I make my MPEG video with TMPGEncm using 16:9 A/R in the "Video" tab, and "1:1 (VGA)" Source format and "Full screen" option in the "Advanced" tab.

    I make my SVCD with the resulting MPG file, but playing it on a 4:3 TV set it's displayed distorced (with long faces...)

    Is it a problem with my DVD plater or some error in my ancoding configuration?

    Thanx in advance for your attention.

    1) Change the "1:1 VGA" setting to 16:9 as well

    2) Set dimension settings (both "Video" and "Advanced" to 352x288) - You'll first have to select "Center Custom Size" in order to change the "Advanced" setting dimensions

    Let us know of your success ;>}

      I've done so, but it doesn't work correctly.
      The A/R is still uncorrect. I'm afraid it's a problema of my DVD player (philips 722). What do you think?
