    i know loadz of people hav been askin this question. but i hav my avi/divx file ready, how do i convert it to XSVCD using tmpeg?

      hi the website doesn't give me a guide on how 2 convert it 2 xsvcd. so can some help?

        Use TMPGEnc with "System" set for SVCD.

        Then the following are DIRECT QUOTEs from the link I provided:

        "XSVCD stands for eXtendedSVCD. XSVCD has same features as SVCD but it is possible to use higher bitrates and higher resolution to get higher video quality. XSVCD is basicly everything that uses MPEG2 video, is not within the SVCD standard and burnt in 'SVCD-Mode'."

        "XSVCD NTSC Sample, 720x480 3000kbit/s MPEG2 Constant Bitrate."


        That should provide you with everything you're looking for...
