    no sound after using TPMGenc

i looked through the threads, found one that sort of resembled my problem....
i have an xvid movie, the video playback is a little jerky...i just tried using TPMGenc and did an encode to mpeg for a few minutes and stopped, previewed the new mpeg and it's a perfect video playback,BUT no audio...what do i do now?

    1) Load the Xvid-compressed .AVI file into VirtualDub or NanDub

    2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

    3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (both video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

I'm quite certain we'll find that the audio is in either .AC3 or VBR-.MP3 format - each of which has to be dealt with differently...
