    Tmpeg problem

When I try to encode an avi-file or re-encode a mpeg2-file in tmpeg, the program stops encoding after a while. The time keeps running but the movie preview goes black.I have this same problem with different versions of Tmpeg (2.57-2.59).This problem started when I bought a new PC. On my AMD 1Ghz tmpeg worked fine, but now I have a pentiumIV 2.533Ghz with a Asus P4PE motherboard and tmpeg stops at random. I have got windowsXP running. Does anyone know this problem?

    Hello "draghixa"

My 1st guess is that your AVI is corrupted. You may want to frameserve it in Vitual Dub to fix or edit around it. Then try TMPEG again loading you newly made file.

    other programs like

    AVI Fixed 1.1 beta1
AVI Fixed can rebuild the index part of the movie file, which is at the end of the file, and fix the file's play time error. It can help you to be able to watch partially downloaded DivX (AVI) movies.
    DivX Tools 0.8 Build 55
DivX Index can repair (also check) damaged or incomplete downloaded AVI
files. It rebuilds the index of an AVI file using its content. It's safe to
check Backup option in order to make a copy of your AVI file if you want to
resume download or if something goes wrong.

Thanks for the reply, but I've already tried that with the same result. The problem doesn't only occur with avi-files but also with mpeg-files.
