    Converting .TS files to MPEG-2?

Does anyone know where I can find some software to convert a .TS file (ASTC HDTV video stream) to MPEG-2? HDTVtoMPEG2 doesn't work, and its the only software I can find. I thought maybe some of you gurus around here would have some ideas.

Are you able to load the file in TMPGEnc or CCE?

It won't load in TMPGEnc, but I don't know what CCE is. The problem with TS streams is that while they're MPEG-2 encoded, they have a lot of extra data that the HDTV tuner picks up.

I have a PCDTV HDTV card and the stream I recorded was mult-channel. I originally had some difficulty getting the program to decode anything because I lacked inputting the proper Video and Audio Stream PID's. The 0x11 and 0x14 didn't work for my stream!

I noticed in the software listings of the tsr program for analyzing streams.

I ran this against my stream which provided me with:
Video:0x0031 Audio:0x0034. I used these in the program and it worked.

The video stream PID is fairly easy to pick out of the PID listings, the audio PID should be next to the video.

            TSr program?

Does anyone have that tsr program that they can email me?
I'm having the same problems with my .ts files.

            Thanks,
            Jeff
