DVD to VCD

I am just curious I had convert some DVD to VCD.....It seems successful because when I played it on my friends player everything's great ...the picture is shown full screen............BUT if I play it on my own player the size of the picture is only 1/4 of my TV screen(upper left corner).......any idea why?

Could be a compatibility issue with your DVD Player, which model is it ?
