Avi audio compression problem?Help Plz.

I have been using tempenc to convert most of the avi movies i download into mpeg format, but on some movies when i try to get them to convert inside tempenc they say file so and so is not found or is unsupported. well i found out that it uses a vid:mp43 codec. i need to know if virtual dub will convert the codec or not so that i can make a vcd.

Try loading the file into VirtualDub.
