        Since its already and .mpg (compliant or not) you can try burning it as a Video-Cd. In Nero Burning Rom select the video-cd option and select your .mpg file.

          can I burn as a 3Gig as a vcd with nero

          can I burned it as a VCD with nero even it the file is 3.06 Gigs?

            If UR file is 3.06GB, then U need to burn it on a DVD disc or split it to several parts, to make couple of VCDs on 650/700/800MB CDs.

              So basically I can burn it into a DVD as a VCD, I thought I had tried that and I got a file error, I will try it again..I tried burning it using Nerovision, I will try now using just plain Nero and see what happpens..thanks.....

                Use TMPGEnc to encode your DVD. Then use nero to ONLY BURN, NOT ENCODE AGAIN because tmpg is way better at encoding than nero is. just use nero to burn, not encode, as this is an important part in makeing a useable dvd.

                    still not working

                    who live in NYC to help me out, I need to put 4 mpgs together as one then i need to burn....I put it as one before but the sound is out of sync...and what do they mean when they say encode the movie with tmp and the sound with vdub..i am lost

                      i get this error with vdub

                      MPEG import filter: pack synchronization error...

                      Any Idea any one this error is with vdub..

                      and with tmpgenc *.MPG i am geting cannot open file unsupported format...
                      any ideas anyone..is there a different between MPG and MPEG?

                        i think what THEY mean, whoever THEY are is encode Video stream with TMPGEnc and Audio stream with Dub. Greets to THEM

                          The difference between MPG and MPEG is the letter 'E' That's just a fiel extension, you name it MPG, MPE, MPEG - it's all MPEG's. Try renaming MPEG to MPG maybe that'll help.

                            I am completely lost

                            Let me see if i can get it right...with your help...OK i deleted the 1 big mpgs, cause i lost the picture...now I have 4 800 mpgs of LOTR i want to make it into one huge 3 gig file and burn to a DVD so I can view on a Stand alone DVD Player...any ideas..i have tmpgenc and having problems with that..mutiplexe de mutliplexer all that..I can get flas mpeg working..need help...
