impossible to copy-possible to playback

I have many CD that but unfortunately I can not transfer them to my hard disk drive then I can not share movies.
I think they are CD Data not CDV or SVCD.

I have a question: how to recognise a CDV, SVCD, etc... amongst CD Data ?

Files can be playback trhough MediaPlayer (avi or mpeg) but copy is impossible.
It is possible to open an convert file when I use VirtualDub but it takes very long.

There are different format of CD: XA,Mod2Mix, Mod1,etc...

A dialog box appear each time when 5secondes remains to end the copy: impossible to read from the source device.

Some CD appear 730MB of size, it is unbelievable.

I am sure that my CD-ROM drive works perfectly.

Could someone help me ?

What method of copying to you HDD did you use? Like copy and paste or what?

I use copy/paste with Explorer.

You could get Alcohol 120% make an image then boot it to a virtual drive.
