nero burning rom

hi guys just a quick question

i just bought nero burning rom
and starting to use it

however i find that it encodes really slow
is this a programme things or my laptop being slow

is there anyway to speed things up
i find it burns really slow too

nero is not good at encoding, rather use TMPGEnc. It is faster than nero, and better quality and flexible. www.dvdrhelp.com is a good walklthrough site to make a vcd.
