    converting from DV to SVCD

i have a dv camera and I have been capturing video from it using Premier 6. Now, P6 has a limit of about 18mins-or3.7gb at one capture. I don't understand why, but I want the whole movie captured. I checked into the DV-IEEE1394 settings for Premier and nothing. All I want is to know what I really need for capture the videos to SVCD. I know TMPGEnc is needed somewhere. so does anyone have any suggestions. setarip? please I want my videos on CDs.

    Thanks

i had about 18 mins into my computer but the file was huge. It was abou 3.7GB somewhere there. How can I convert this file to a small divx/avi file that can fit onto a cd? I also want to convert the avi file to svcd so I can watch them on my home dvd player. I know there are convertors out there for that. anyone wanna shed some light no this? thanks
