upside down copy on vcd

i recorded an avi with nero and it encoded to .dat and recorded it but it plays upside down in all my players ????? please help ty

Use TMPGEnc to convert the .AVI to compliant MPEG1-VideoCD format. Then use NERO ONLY to burn as VCD (NOT to encode, since you'll have already done this under TMPGEnc)...
