error w/dvd2svcd

I've ripped a few dvds with dvd2svcd so I know that my program works, but I've tried three times to rip my dvd of dogma and each time I get an error -

Video Encoding using TMPGEnc
--------------------------------------------------------
EInvalidOp Invalid floating point operation

What's that about and how can I fix it?

Try cleaning the DVD...

yea I uninstalled and then put a fresh copy on and it stopped happening
