Problem with playing on VCDplayer

I have a avi file , I convert to MPEG-1 format with TMPG , and this mpeg play good on my PC . Then I burn to CD with Nero 5.5 with speed 8x.The mpeg file also play good on my CR-rom.But when I put in VCD player , the sound no problem but the image have trouble , after 2,3s the screen is up , down.How to fix that problem....

Use TMPGEnc to convert to "MPEG1_VideoCD", NOT "plain vanilla" "MPEG-1"

Use NERO ONLY to burn (NOT to convert, since you'll have already done this in TMPGEnc)...

i have encode a movie with TMPGEnc with both formats and then i bured it with nero but when i come to play it on my computer dvd player did didnt play
