I'm creating DVD's with photos using Vegas4. Iwould like to know what is the best format to save them in. Mpeg, Avi, DV or what ever. That is, before I create the DVD. I thought mpeg2 was the best. Can some one help?

DVD is basically MPEG2 and ac3 sound muliplexed.
With photos all you need to do is to resize them to 480x480 (NTSC) or 480x576 (PAL),save them as jpeg. Create an svcd disc in Nero and drop the pictures in the field for the mpeg and it will make a svcd slideshow for you.
