    Capturing

Okay, I realize I have asked this question in the past, but I never really got a satisfactory answer. I want to capture from a WDM FireWire (IEEE1394) source (ADVC-100) directly (realtime) into a MPEG-1 (VCD format) file, perefably with file splitting, though it is not a must. I would like ANY suggestions ANYONE has on this because it is annoying me that I can't find a solution.

THANK YOU so much in advance!

ok if u got a wdm capturing card (one that also works with other capturing programs.....WDM cards do work on other programs though), use cyberlink power director 2.55 or uleads video studio 7.
both will capture mpeg1 mpeg2 in real time ofcourse mpeg2 will require a faster computer.

but remember the video quality wont be as good as a hardware encoder capture card like snazzi's captuer cards.

(i got a snazzi vcd master and believe me its quality is superb)
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

Does anyone have anything I don't have to pay for (i.e. freeware, donationware, shareware, etc.?)
