    Tmpgenc givin me problems again

im trying to cut this videon using tmpgenc then put it on svcd using nero which usually works fine, but for some reasonthis mov. file wont bring a sound file or i guess wav. file with it. i go to the tab in options and set that thing to highest priority, That worked, but now when i try to encode the file it keeps on freezing in tmpgenc. why does it keep frezing and what do i do to stop it?

I am not quite sure but I think setarip has already pointed out how to get Tmpeg to transcode an ac3 file.

if this is not working for you I suggest....

    1. demux your avi using virtualdubmod or nandub
    2. save your avi as silent avi
    3. use HeadAC3 he to transcode the Ac3 file to wav (or to mp 2)
4.use the silent avi as videosource and the newly created wav file
    as audiosource in Tmpeg
    after transcoding cut your file

    good luck!!

"but for some reasonthis mov. file wont bring a sound file or i guess wav."

Are you, THIS TIME, talking about a MAC-format .MOV file?

If so, it probably contains yet another audio format that TMPGEnc doesn't recognize.

      Happy Hunting...
