How can I insert logo (jpg, gif, bmp...) on my mpeg?

I capture videos from dvd s. Then I edit these videos and burn VCD s. I'd like to insert my logo (jpg, gif or bmp file) in these videos. How can I do this? Can I insert animated gif files and which programs that I need?

Good question...

I don't have any commercial intentions. I work at home for this, and make some music videos archive for myself.

I try to learn capturing, editing, divx technics, because I need them for my home videos. I have lots of family and firends videos.

So that's it, if you have any information about my problem, please help me.

The videos that you "capture" from DVDs are COMMERCIAL VIDEOS...

thank you setarip, someone needed to say it!

why would anyone want to set a logo in a video file period?! it's like an unwanted commercial, i think people that do that suffer from a lack of acknowledgment. maybe there's something better they/or you could do with your time than to waste mine, i trash every file i dl that has second party spam. thankfully though, those of you that have to sign other people's work for recognition, only crap on the lo-rez stuff. have a nice rip, you spammer!
