How to convert SVCD to playable DVD

I was wondering how one or if one could convert a SVCD into a DVD-type format that is playable on any REGULAR DVD player, like one that hooks up to a TV.

I have been trying to Use DVD Lab for the last two days without success.

First it says that the Audio isn't DVD compliant 48K so I change this to 48K and then DVD Lab says it can't access file.

Any ideas?

demux mpeg2 stream to m2v and mpa--> convert mpa to wav.
change wav 44100 hz to 48 khz -reencode to mpeg1 layer2
224 kbits 48 khz......remux or just use the videostream with the
new audiostream in DVDLAB (tmpeg dvd author) author.........
