    adding "chapters" to a SVCD

    Dear all
    I use DVD2SVCD to create my SVCDs and in general this works perfect and I can play these SVCDs on my DVD stand alone player without any problems.

    If I play a DVD on that DVD-player then I am able to jump to several "chapters" or scenes of the DVD. This does not work with my SVCDs although the fastforward function(picture search) works with my SVCDs.

    Question: Is there a way to program such "chapters" into my SVCDs(maybe with some mpg editing software) that I can do the same chapter jumping with my DVD-player like on DVDs ???

          I think I found the solution by myself:
          DVD2SVCD allows to configure a CD-Image-Tool under CD-Image tab. There I can select "VCDXBuild"(included with DVD2SVCD) abd then I can select "fixed chapters" and a time value.
          I assume that this time value defines the periodic insertion of chapter jumping points...but I am not sure.
          I will try it out and present my results for all who are interested in this.
          If anyone already got some experiences on that then please let me know.
