Hey-
Im having issues with TMPGenc. I ripped my DVD to the hard drive of my computer using DVD Decryptor, and then I used DVD2AVI to split it into a .d2v to a .wav file, which I think laoded into TMPGenc. The thing is, when I mess with the settings on TMPG to lower the filesize of the mpg, nothing will work. I decreased the bitrate (to several different rates), as well as messed with the size of the frame and the quality %...it always spits out the same 8.5M file no matter how bad the quality is. Does anyone know why it may be doing this? Did I mess up somewhere in decryption or frame serving? Any and all help is appreciated.
Jay
PS..right now, its giving me an 8.5M file for :50 seconds of video, and i want to get that down to about 5M for :50 seconds, or about .1M/sec. Thanks again...
