square box in my mpg file..how to fix?

i am using the TMPGEnc to convert the avi to VCD format but it not work when i play it in divx or VCD player it will got a pictures like this

but in avi format i can see it perfectly using the Divx Codec but it cant work when i convert it to VCD format.

EXACTLY what procedures and settings are you using in TMPGEnc?

i just use the project wizard of the TMPGEnc convert to PAL format and set source range from start frame to end frame

maybe it is the codec problem?
i open the avi in TMPGEnc and virtualdub
it will got this image too. maybe the problem is in the TMPGEnc and virtualdub. i use many video converter it also got same result.
i use window media player and divx codec to play the avi, it not get any problem

If those images (with pixel blocks) show up in VirtualDub, then they are in the original .AVI file...

yes. they are original .AVI file.

finally i solve this problem. they are the codec problem in the divx pro 5.1 codec so i have uninstall it and install the 3ivx codec then it will play the original .AVI without the pixel box.

now for the virtualdubmod

decompressor is 3ivx D4 4.0.4

i didt know why use Divx codec play the original .AVI file no have pixel block, and use the virtualdubmod and TMPGEnc (they are using decompressor divx pro 5.1 codec ) they will got those images pixel blocks.
