SVCD does not play on all DVD Players

    Hello

I had a wave file, to which I wanted to add some written, information.
So I generated in Adobe Premiere a sequence of titles, that I saved together with the WAV.

I did encode this movie with TmpEnc and burnded the mpg file to a CD, as a SVCD.

This Film Plays well on the Standalone DVD at my place, So i Thought everything would be nice.

But when i showwed this move on a DVD Player of one of my colleagues, The move did Stop after some seconds and only the music did continue. The Picture was frozen.

Does anybody have an idea what i did wrong?
I thought SVCD is such a standard, that it is completly compatible from any SVCD player, to any other.

    Thanks for your answers.

If You are interested, i can put the file to overnet.

SVcd is not such standard, only vcd is 100% compatible with all dvd/vcd players.
though newer players now can play svcds easily but still its not as good as vcd's.
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!
