Converting VBR DivX to VCD

Hi,

Does anybody know how to convert DivX files encoded using VBR audio to VCD?

Virtual Dub Reports them as being VBR.

Tecmpeg wont do it.

I have tried recording the audio in real time then encoding the audio and visual together, but i get bad synching problems.

Any ideas, anyone?
