improve quality VCD

Hi, ive got a movie of about 1:40 hours... (735MB)

When is slice and dice this movie (cut) i get 2 part of about 365 mb's each... There is almost twice as much space on the CD-r that is not being used.. a big shame!!

I've tryed to higher the framerate from 1150 to 1800.....
but then my DVD-player starts to skip every 5 secs..
!!! not what i want!!!

How can i improve the quality of the VCD movie, without my DVD-player going all freaky like that!!!!

Not really. VCD consumption of Cd-R space is based on time (similar to audio CDs) rather than megabyte size.
