    vcd brightness

Hi all just a question about fixing the brightness of an .avi before encoding it with Tmpg's vcd template. Does tmpg have a feature that does this or do i have to wait until its encoded in mpeg 1 format first? Just trying to avoid wasting some time, I am encoding on a p2 400mhz. and it takes quite a while to convert 700mb!

    thanks in advance

You can adjust the brightness and contrast using TMPGEnc. Go to settings-> Advanced-> double click on basci color correction there you can adjust it....

after you load in your movie..click on "settings" at the bottom..then click the "advanced" tab then double click the line that says "basic color correction" do your correction click ok when done and then make sure before you encode that the little box next to "basic color correction" is checked. then go for it.
