Another multiplexing problem - please help

I'm having another problem with multiplexing using TMPGEnc with the same error message - packet cause buffer underflow.

The original avi file i'm converting has a frame rate of 23.97 with resolution 512x384 and ac3 audio.

Audio was extracted using nandub, fixed with besliced then encoded into mp2 using besweet with bitrate of 224kbs.

Video is encoded using TMPGEnc using NTSCFilm settings with bitrate set at 1150kbs and size at 352x240.

    After multiplexing, the error appear.

I believe this is due to the conversion of the film's resolution from 512x384 to 352x240. Is there anything that can fix this problem?

That specific message includes, "This MAY cause errors on playback".

Have you tried playing your multiplexed file? Most often, there is no observable problem...

The file played fine on my computer. I didn't want to burn it into VCD at first because the last time I burned a vcd with the same multiplexing error, my VCD player couldn't play it.

Anyway, I went ahead and burned it on CD and it played fine.

      Thanks.
