Divx to SVCD

Whats the best and easiest way to convert from a 1 file Divx to 2 file SVCD so it can be split on 2 CDs to be watched in a DVD Player?

I also have one thats a XVID, would I do the same thing?


Sorry I just really have somethin on the computer that I want to play on my DVD Player.

Load your DivX/XviD in TMPGEnc. Load the SVCD template. You can then select a few options:

1. Change the bitrates to accomodate best your video length
2. Change the resolution to make the best picture possible and correct the ratio (set source as being 1:1 and output 4:3), then select full screen.
3. Use the source range to cut your movie in the middle. Adding a small overlap can be usefull...
