I recently bought a used Pinnacle DC10Plus card hoping to edit my old videos recorded on a Video 8. I am using the Pinnacle Studio 8 for capturing and later used Vegas Video 4 for editing.
Card : DC10Plus
PC: PIII 800 with 256MB Ram
Capture format: MJpeg, PAL, 3000kbps, 720X540
Rendering: Vegas Video 4
2 Problems....
1) I tried to render it in .mpg but it stopped half with an unknown error. Tried couple of times and still halt at the same location.
2) I later decided to render in .avi and later use TMPEGenc to convert from avi to mpg. I the rendered avi has these wavy lines around moving objects. After reading much on this forum, I guess it must be the interlacing problem.
Guy's....
1) Will these wavy lines be seen on a television if I burn the mpg file with the wavy lines? My end produce is for television viewing only and not on a PC
2) How can I get this fixed? Any software that can rectify this or any setting I should twitch before I render?
Thanks
