Unknown Mpeg Encoder Error

Everytime I try to burn a VCD, Nero won't let me. It says unknown MPEG encoder error. I have Nero 6 Ultra. I have tried TMPEGnc and it says "Cannot open, or unsupported". With all my Video files, whether it's MPEG format or AVI. I have also tried DivFix and there are no errors. What is going wrong?

I will asume that you haven't created the files yourself , but that you downloaded it...

I had similar problem with downloaded files before.
try renaming it to AVI and convert it with TMPGenc, I know it sounds stupid, but it worked a few times for me.

If that doesn't work, try fixing the original with something like MPEG header correcter.

I would load an offending file into G Spot and post here what file information reveals.
