burning an mpeg file to cdr in nero 6 ?

I have nero 6

I burn the mpeg files to a cdr in nero, when i go to add the file it seems to analyze or upload the file just fine then i click next insert a blank disc and burn no problem.

_problem is it will not play on my set top dvd player.

i don't think it is a problem with the set top player as i have had someone send me a VCD a few weeks ago and it played just fine.

i think i am doing something wrong during the nero express burning process.

any ideas/thoughts ?

Somebody asked me the same question the other day... turned out that he got stuck in the vcd menu.


Is the player recognizing the CD or not?

Are the mpeg files in Mpeg-1 format?

are you recording it using VCD mode at all? cause its not clear from what u write...
