VOB to VCD Problem

Ok, I have 2 problems...

When I convert VOB to VCD/SVCD ( with DVDx )it throws the last few frames away. Any idea why this happen?

The other problem is that I sometimes get loud pop sounds in the mpgs, when i convert drom DVD to VCD.
What the hell cause this problem?

I would suggest you try to use "TMPGENc" (different from TMPGENc DVD Author) to do your VOB to SVCD conversion. There are pre-set template wizards that will help you accomplish the task. The program is fully functional for 30 days.
