converting to vcd error

Hi, sometimes when i am encoding an avi file to mpeg with TMPGE like partway through i get this message "illegal floating decimal point error" or something like that, it happens every once in a while, does anyone know how to fix this? it dosent happen in the begining or the end like sometimes at 26 percent, any help would be great!!! thanks

I don't know much in this regard. However, it is possible your movie may contain corrupt frames. You may be able to resolve this issue by using VirtualDub to remove corrupted frames.
