    Issues from VCD to DVD

    Hi
I am trying to convert my VCD's to a couple of DVD-r
Right now i have them on my computer as MPG by using ISOBUSTER

Then I tried TMPenc (something like that) but kept getting an error message "0" and they never worked. So I got rid of this program.

Next I tried SVCD2DVD, which seem to work fine and even converted the sound to 48 Khz.

Next I went to my burning software, and burnt onto a DVD-RW, then went to play on my DVD player.

There is no picture, and nothing but lines going across the screen but there is sound and the sound seems to be fine.

Does anyone know how to fix my problem?

Does anyone suggest and better program for the conversion?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'd suggest that you don't re-encode the video at all. VCD video is a valid DVD format. You only need to transcode the audio to 48000Hz. If you try TMPGEnc DVD Author, it will transcode the audio for you automatically while authoring the DVD.
