How to rip certain segment from DVDs with Xilisfot DVD Ripper

I want to extract the segment from DVD. I see there is an "encode segment" option in Xilisoft DVD Ripper but I don't see where I can see an elapsed time when so I can work out the correct times to start and stop. Any help will be appreciated greatly.

Hello! If you want a clip, please choose "Encode Segment" in File menu, then enter the beginning time and the duration of the song. For example, you want a clip from 00:20:20 to 00:35:00, you should enter From 00:20:20 and the Length is 00:14:40.
The "To" input box of "Encode Segment" window seems that not allowed to edit when the software was designed, I think.
