    conversion crash

I'm using Advanced X Video Converter to convert mpg file to vcd-pal. One of my friends told me that it works great. I downloaded the latest version (http://www.xvideoconverter.com) and it's easy to use. But when I try to run the program I get the following box:

    X VideoConvertor.exe - Application error

The instruction at "0x1c218c80" referenced memory at "0x06360558". The
memory could not be "written". Click on OK to terminate the program.

I have loaded the program on my another much lower spec machine where it runs perfectly!

I've installed an mpeg-2 codec and DirectX 9.0.

Can you suggest how I can get the program to run as it looks great? Thank you.

Have you installed windows media format 9 runtime, and the codec pack ?

I have never used the software. But I think the problem should be related to the temporary buffer.
