    is there a limit to the filesize for a wav in Temgenc

    I have ripped Titanic dvd and get a 2Gig wav file. When I try and encode I have no audio. I know i am ripping the correct audio channel cause if I stop the dvd2avi process after a few minutes and encode this there is audio. It just appears to be when the whole long movie is ripped in one go there is no audio in Tmpgenc.
    If I try and play the wav in media player it says buffer not big enough, although I can play the wav in Feurios audio player.
    What can I do and is a purely a filesize limitation of Tmpgenc/Win98?

    As far as I know, Win98 can handle files only up to 2Gigs in size. Try re-ripping using MP3 audio instead of uncompressed PCM .WAV format.

    Let us know of your success ;>}
