Is there a way to add subtitles to a VCD?

Not another topic about adding subtitles and then creating a VCD. I have a diferent situation. I´ve already downloaded the movie in VCD format, I just need to burn it to a CD and watch on my DVD player. I wonder if I can add subtitles to a VCD. I don´t have any video file like .avi or .mpg, just the VCD with the video_ts folder, etc.

Can you help me guys? I really want to watch this film but my english isn´t perfect..

I know how to add to a .avi file, not to a VCD disk.

hey, tell me how to add subtitle in a avi file, and I will tell you how to convert in SVSD. there are allot of programs that you can use for this.
