How to convert Video Music to MP3 or WMA?

Hello everyone, I have a lot of VCD (music video & Karaoke) disc and now woundering what is the software to use to rip this to my pc, all i want is just the song file so that i can convert it to mp3 file or WMA. thx. Oh and will this software do the same to DVD?

For DVD, try a program called "DVD Audio Ripper" (shareware). It will allow you to save the chapter(s) as either WAV or Mp3 files (very close to a "One-Click" solution).

Hey guys thx for the reply. Ive tried the Besweet and men, I really dnt knw how it work. Is there any Besweet Guied For Dummies? Is there any simple programe beside this?

Try using "BeLight". It works in conjunction with Besweet.

I keep downloading the Belight file but only manage to download 12kb of it's file??? Is it bcoz of my internet setting?

Ok, Ive download it sucessfuly alrdy and unzip it inside the besweet folder and run the belight program. Ive put in my VCD and get the file E:\MPEGAV\ AVSEQ02.dat after selecting the format to be converted(mp3) then i've press the "start" button and it does nothing??!! It dnt even convert anything??!! How is this program use?? All im looking for is to rip the sound file from my vcd and make it as mp3.....hhmmm.... pls help......thx.

Do i have to convert the "DAT" file to maybe avi 1st then use this program to xtract the sound file and convert to MP3?

Ok so Ive convert the DAT file to AVI then test it again, and this file came out ;

LMAO. BeSweet has a number of plugins 69 cents which if you need it the prog will tell you where to get them. Just install them with BeSweet and you'll be fine.

And yes, as you've discovered, you need to convert to AVI or something recognisable.
