no audio in svcd when using dvd2avi

when backing-up a dvd to svcd using dvd2avi on certain movies (titanic and zorro) when i run the dvd2avi program to create the d2v and the ac3 files it displays 'AE!' in the info window when encoding and the process finishes abnormally fast, then when you run tmpgenc there is no audio, are these movies using a different audio type, if they are where do i tell dvd2avi?. i have only had this happen a few times with certain movies but it is disconcerting and if anyone knows what the reason is i would be really appreciative.
    Thanks

Although I don't personally use dvd2avi, I'm guessing that you've selected (perhaps by default, using stream 0x80) a DTS audiostream, which the software probably can't process. One could speculate that "AE!" stands for "Audio Error!"...
