I have successfully converted a number of DVDs to VCD format using the following
Smart ripper 2.41 to rip DVD
Flask .594 to encode
TMPGEmc - 2.5 to cut file to size.
Nero to burn image and then VCD
I am following the setting recommended in Nicky Pages' guide.
The quality is OK (sound quality is fine - visual quality is average)
Does anyone have any suggestions for improving quality. Encoding to SVCD would be an alternative but for the fact that it takes so long!
