I have a movie that is apparently using vbr for the audio. I looked in the past posts and saw that I should convert it to 4.12 codec using virtual dub and then use tmpg to change it to 44100hz which I did but all I ended up with was a very large mpeg with no sound still. Any ideas??
heres the info from virtual dub...
Frame size= 640x272, 23.976
# of frames = 2,489(1:43)
Decompressor= DivX codec 4.12
# of key frames= 23
Audio
Sampling rate= 48000hz
Channels= 2(sterio)
Sample precision= 0-bit
Compression= Fraunhofer IIS Mpeg layer 3 codec
Preload skew= 384 samples (.01s)
#of frames= 4325
