    divx MPEG-4 to VCD

Hi I have many divx MPEG - 4 Low Motion files on my computer that need to be converted to VCD so I can make room on my harddrive.

I have attached a copy of what I have seen when I did put the file through the VIRTUAL DUB program.

Do I convert these first to .avi's alone or can I convert them from divx mpeg 4 straight to VCD? I'm a newbie and need help badly

Any help appreciated as I'm deparate to get some files off my computer

    Thanks for any help

If you are, as you say, merely interested in removing these files from your hard drive, there is NO REASON to convert to MPEG1-VideoCD. The sole purpose of the VCD format is for playing on a standalone DVD player for viewing on your television.

All you have to do is burn your .AVIs as data CDs, which you can subsequently run on your computer...
