DVDx Newbie

I'm new to DVD -> SuperVCD ripping.

Could someone tell me what settings to use with DVDx 1.8a to create -THE- best quality (video and audio) SuperVCD MPEG.

I don't care how long it'll take to rip.

I use dvdx with these settings

sound 128k or higher set this first

bitrate will depend on how many cds you want to rip the dvd to

allow 809 meg per cd then adjust the bitrate to suit the number of megs in total

so 2 cd rip would be 1618 meg just adjust the bitrate to the megs is around that figure this would be somewhere around 2000 bitrate

3 cd rip would be 2427 meg

dont forget to click the whole button as dvdx keeps the size of your last rip (nothing worse than getting to the end of the movie and the last 5 to 10 minutes is missing)
