Under "file" in Virtualudb, what does it say in the "file informaton", post all the info here. You probably don't have the right codec.

What is the extension of the adobe premiere file. If you want to edit it in Virtualdub make it an .avi or .mpg (mpeg-1) file. Why would you want to edit it in Virtualdub?

              hello

the extension in Premiere is .avi , with a compression microsoft dv (pal).

I thought you tell me to open my file in virtualdub to see the file info...
Personally, I don't need to use virtualdub, I only need TMPgenc to compress my movie and put it in cd... I know it's possible with this file, but I don't know wath it miss me...

sorry for my bad english, (I'm french) so long

                Codec "dvsd"

"dvds" is fourcc code of Pinnacle Systems cards or old MiroVideo DV300 SW codec.
Try new drivers (of Pinnacle) for complete avi compatibily.
