How to reconnect splited VCD file together

I got a movie (2 files diveX format), each about 90 minutes long,( almost 3 hours movie) I want to use TMPG encoder to convert it to VCD or SVCD, becomes 3CDs.
As every cd can contains about 70 minutes of film, i have to split each diveX file to two, ( the first diveX file to two files of 65 minutes and 25 minutes and second file of divex to two 45 minutes file).
I can make 4 files out of it using TMPG, but after the conversion is done, how can I reconnect them persisley?

I have to connect the 25 minutes file to the first part of other file (45 minutes file).
Do I have to do something before starting the conversion?

Instead of splitting the two DivX files, JOIN them (in VirtualDub) to make one DivX file. Then simply use TMPGEnc to split that single file as needed (File>>MPEGTools>>Merge&Cut)...
