Use TMPGEnc to extract the audio.

        Hi there,
What you can do is :
Copy the .dat file to your hard drive, either by dragging the file across, or using ISOBUSTER, or VCD GEAR (to search for programs try going to www.google.com and doing a search for them )
Than you can DEMUX (demultiplex (bascially split the audio and video files appart)) using TMPGEnc (www.tmpgenc.com).
        In TMPGEnc go :
File > MPEG Tools > Basic Demultiplex

This will extract the audio out for you and than depending on what format you want or need the audio to be you can use another program such as GOLDWAVE to convert the sound file.

Hope this clears things up a bit.

        Cheers

Thanks, it's starting to clear now.
so, when I extract the audio using tmpgenc what format will the audio be in? And will I be able to play the CD on any CD player?

You will need to convert the wav audio into a format the cd burner recognzies. Most cd burning software, automatically converts wav to a cd format.

              Every Advice y'all gave worked.

Would I use tmpgenc again if I wanted to convert SVCD to VCD?
