Help needed please cut a movie in two with Virtual dub

    I am newbie,
I have extracted audio file out of a divx file using Virtual Dub and saved it as wave and then use TPMG encoder to convert the movie using the wave file to VCD.

Now I want to split the movie in two, to burn it in two CDs,
I have played around with Virtual Dub, can not figure it out how,
no such a help in their help menu either,
is ther anyone know how to do this and share it, i am very greatful.
is possible to use TMPG for spliting the movie,
detailed info needed on this please.

    thanx

    Hi there,
Once you have checked that the MPEG file you have created is OK and the lip sinc is fine than you next step is to cut it to the required size (750, 800, 900+MB) to fit to disc with TMPGEnc.
    1. Open up TMPGEnc
    2. Go file
    3. MPGE Tools
    4. Cut/Join
    5. Add
    6. Find the MPEG file on your hard drive
    7. Once its in the white box, either go EDIT or double click on the file
    8. Use the [ to mark where you want the cut to start and the ] to finish the cut.
    9. Go OK
    10. Save the file as what ever you want to call it.
    11. Start.
    12. Once its finished double click on the file in the white box again
    13. Cut and Paste the time you choose to end the cut of the first disc into the begining of the cut of the second disc and add a few seconds to ensure an overlap
    14. Use the ] to end the cut of the second disc
    15. Steps 9-11

The second cut will take a while longer as it searches through the file so give it time.
    Hope this helps out

    Cheers
