.avi to vcd help

Hi guys! This is my first post and I really have a problem.

I want to convert .avi movie to mpeg but for some reason it's not supported. Here's what I did:

I've got programs like Virtual Dub, TMPGenc,avi2vcd.

The audio of this .avi file is compressed so I used virtual dub first to uncompressed the .avi file then use TMPGenc and I'm getting errors telling me it's not supported. I also used avi2vcd and I got the same.

What else do I need to do? I've been trying this for 2 days now and still wont work. Thanks.

1) Load the file into VirtualDub

2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (both video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

And also can you please help me changing to frame rate. The first one I tried works fine but the framerate is only 25fps. I would appreciate any help to get a better quality pictures. thanks.

The problem probably has to do with the framerate being only 20FPS.

Oh ok. How do I adjust or fix the frame rate?
